Anthony Hopkins’ tattoo if he was to have one

We’re all just a bunch of sinners crashing around in the darkness He thinks tattoos are stupid, but if he had to have one he would choose “the mark of Cain”

This phrase was footnooted by the interviewer

Now in the spirit for research letting people know what tattoo Mr Hopkins would deface himself with, here you go:

This is VAV, also known as the mark of Cain

According to the The Zohar, a Kabbalistic text, the mark of Cain was one of the twenty-two Hebrew letters of the Torah, although the Zohar’s native Aramaic doesn’t actually tell us which of the letters it was.[8] Some commentators, such as Rabbi Michael Berg in his English commentary on the Zohar,[8] suggest that the mark of Cain was the letter vav.

So there you go: The Anthony Hopkins Tattoo.
